Once a Booster has been equipped, it can be used during a pool match. Boosters are located to the right of the Pool Table when playing a match. Boosters can only be used during your turn and only 1 Booster can be used on each Shot.
Tap a Booster from the right hand panel when playing a match to select it and then tap again to active it. Boosters cannot be deactivated once confirmed. When the shot is taken, the Booster inventory is reduced and the game returns to a neutral state with no Boosters selected. To use another Booster, repeat this same process.
Each Booster has the following effects when activated:
Aim Assist: The Aim Assist Booster greatly increases the Guideline and makes it easier to align shots.
Jump: The Jump Booster allows you to jump the Cue Ball over obstacles in order to strike the target ball. Activating the Booster changes how you interact with the shot. Align the Cue Stick to the target and pull back on the Power Bar to control the jump distance. The Cue Ball must land in open space, it cannot land on a spot occupied by a Ball.
Rail Guide: Activating the Rail Guide Booster displays a Guideline that shows how either the Cue Ball or the target ball will bounce off the sides of the Pool Table. Moving the Cue Stick and pulling on the Power Bar adjusts the trajectory of the Bank or Kick Shot. This is helpful when trying to make difficult shots that need to bounce off a cushion.
Masse: The Masse Booster allows you to curve the Cue Ball when taking a shot. Pulling Up or Down on the Power Bar adjusts the curve of the shot as shown by the Guideline. This can be helpful when needing to navigate around certain Balls.
