It is possible to remove Friends by tapping on their Profile in the Friends Menu. This can be reached from the Main Menu by tapping the Friends Button in the lower Left part of the screen. Tapping the Profile of the designated Friend found in the middle of the Menu will open their Profile Popup. Near the bottom of the Popup is the Remove Friend Button that will instantly remove the Friend from your list.

Removing a Friend will also remove your Profile from their Friend List as well. Removed Friends can be added back through the Search and Share features found in the Friend Menu.
