A friend request can be made after playing a match with an opponent. This appears as a symbol over the opponent's avatar in the Match Results screen. Tapping this symbol will automatically send the Request to the Opponent. Alternatively, you can add an opponent as a friend during a match by tapping on their Profile picture and tapping "Send Friend Request".

A Friend Request can also be sent from the Friend Menu. If you know the other player's name, then you can search for it in the right-hand section of the Friend Menu. Once the friend has been found, tap the Request Button to send the request. This right-hand section will also feature recent opponents that can be Friend Requested.

Friend requests sent to you will need to be accepted in the Friend Menu. These can be viewed by tapping the Requests button found on the left-hand side of the Friend Menu. You can accept and reject pending requests from the popup that is shown.
