If your opponent is spamming Emotes during a match, then you can turn off Chat by tapping on the Chat Bubble underneath your Character during a match and selecting the Chat toggle. This will turn off your chat and mute your opponent. Your opponent cannot see if they have been muted. To send emotes Chat must to set to On.
